I am an evolutionary biologist and ecologist. My research interests include: microbiology, experimental evolution and genetics.

My favorite and most frequently used experimental organism is the unicellular, eucaryotic yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

I work with laboratory strains as well as with strains isolated from natural populations, that could be a producing toxin killer yeast.
